About

Ash Boan is an artist presently focused on printmaking and bookmaking, with a life-long practice of drawing.
He is currently based on the unceded territories of the Musqueam, Squamish and Tsleil-Waututh peoples. He holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Emily Carr University of Art + Design.
Ash’s work often explores topics of transness, eroticism, decolonization, violence, and visibility; working to create objects of immediacy and intimacy. But mostly he draws cats.
